So fb has just told me that marmite is donating part of any profits from rainbow jars to stonewall?

Confused

Stonewall are more photogenic than girls in period poverty, rape victims or battered women, and they have a better logo.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 09/07/2018 17:02

Interesting. I've never tried vegemite.

Melamin · 09/07/2018 17:04

I won't be contributing. I usually get Tosco own brand anyway, or sainsbugs low salt. Marmite has a nasty bitter aftertaste.

SoddingUnicorns · 09/07/2018 17:06

What the fuck? I actually like marmite unlike most of the others jumping on the bandwagon.

But I can live without it.

I find supermarket own brand is great for when Bovril wont do.

Yes, Bovril the delicious meaty thing thats not Nutella, in a jar. Buy some today!

Yup I didn't dream it:

I think you have to personalise it. So trans the marmite effectively.

The comments on Twitter are worth a read

Apparently morrisons and aldi also do an own brand. I was a great fan of fine fare yellow pack yeast extract back in the day [nostalgic] Hmm

Ah old news, I notice @bewilderness got in a few days ago!

Meridian Natural Yeast Extract without added salt is ridiculously good, far nicer than Marmite. I sometimes eat it out of the jar with a spoon when nobody's looking...

AsAProfessionalFekko · 09/07/2018 18:26

Is it nice on hot buttered toast?
