Puberty does, indeed, SUCK. For pretty much everyone. Your body changes, your status in society starts changing, it's all pretty confusing and everyone seems to hit it at different times. I really worry that in the long run are pathologising a completely normal, natural process. Many people will feel very alienated from themselves during puberty, but it tends to pass once you get older. Puberty is a b*tch, but it's not a disease.

There is some suckiness to all life stages.

Puberty sucks but you get through
Menopause sucks but you get through.
