Doc Martens are really poor quality these days, not surprised people have to buy 5 pairs.

Well done those women. Yes, I am straight. I still know bravery when I see it.

Ereshkigal · 07/07/2018 14:26

Im a lesbian and I think it's awful.

I seem to remember you saying you were "pansexual", no? Or wasn't that you?

Imnobody4 · 07/07/2018 14:26

Brave women - Respect

doctorcuntybollocks · 07/07/2018 14:26

Anyone who owns 5 pairs (5 pairs!!!) of Doc Martens must be very lesbian indeed.

I once owned a pair of Doc Martens but they made my feet sore. I think my heterosexual feet were rejecting them.

OrchidInTheSun · 07/07/2018 14:28

Fantastic women.

BeyondRaggydoll · 07/07/2018 14:28

I actually have five pairs, and three pairs of birkenstocks.

Do I get a star? Grin

Fucking sick to death of you transphobic straight women who know nothing about the LGBTQ community.

Did you just assume every poster's sexuality? Hmm

Raising a mug of tea here to the brave lesbians at Pride Brew

BringMeTea · 07/07/2018 14:30

Awesome women! Bloody well done them.

GoingDownToYourRiver · 07/07/2018 14:33

This has made my day. These women are heroic.

R0wantrees · 07/07/2018 14:34

People have forgotten that women come together irrespective of sexuality.

'The 1980s peace camp against US cruise missiles was a demonstration of joyous female power that echoes through to the women’s marches of today. Activists recall those heady, scary, inspiring days'

thornyhousewife · 07/07/2018 14:36

Yes ladies! They got their point across beautifully.

BeyondRaggydoll · 07/07/2018 14:37

Datun got a post deleted?! Shock

It's not that brave. Being brave is being an LGBT protestor in a country like Russia or parts of Africa.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 07/07/2018 14:37

I'm all for people being who they are.

Being who you are, shouldnt stop someone else being who they are.

That is the problem, a few people want things their way, regardless of who it effects and thats not right.

CosmicCanary · 07/07/2018 14:37

Have followed this on twiiter.
So very proud of these amazing women.

Juells · 07/07/2018 14:38

They're behaviour is shitty, not brave. It's rad fem nutjobs spouting transphobic bigotry.

Yes, it's so transphobic to say lesbians are homosexual Hmm

Well done to those women! Dreadful that in 2018 they still have to fight for the right to choose their own sexual partners.

AppleBlossomTimeNow · 07/07/2018 14:39

These brave women! Stand firm sisters! We applaud you. Keep going & never give in x

Whataboutery of the first order.

michellefromtheresistance · 07/07/2018 14:39

Can't lesbians choose who they have sex with nowadays?

I must have missed that law.

CatchingBabies · 07/07/2018 14:40

Lesbian here who is OVERJOYED to see this! I have no problem with people living their lives how they wish and dress how you want and call yourself what you want but if you have a penis don’t for one second think you are a lesbian and take away the little rights and freedom that we have!

michellefromtheresistance · 07/07/2018 14:40

No - it's saying that these women aren't brave.

They are protestors. Not brave protestors. They aren't risking jail.

Iseveryusernamealreadytaken · 07/07/2018 14:41

These women are so inspiring.

I used to be someone who marched in my local Pride Parade every year and felt I was part of a community (albeit one where the men were front and centre but isn't that every community?). Now I try to be somewhere else when Pride is on because I find it too upsetting.

It would easier if Pride just ceased to exist - It's worse having to see it going on, all the media presenting this happy clappy image of the LGBT 'community', straight acquaintances posting 'happy Pride' messages and photos all over Facebook, all the corporate organisations getting in on the act.

Apparently, it's all wonderful and progressive and the lesbians have achieved equality and we are one big happy family, except we are not and lesbian rights are being pushed right back and we are being denied even the language to describe what is happening to us.

EmpressWeaponisedClitoris · 07/07/2018 14:41

To quote the great Magdalen Berns: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LESBIAN WITH A PENIS!

Lesbians had to fight erasure from Section 28 & we're having to fight it again now.

noeffingidea · 07/07/2018 14:42

Lesbians are female homosexuals
Right on sisters.
