Marmite have a special edition LGBTQ jar with a part of profits going to Stonewall. I commented I was disappointed that they'd support an organisation that excludes lesbians.

A very polite person asked me to expend on that and I mentioned the activists violence towards biological women etc. Nothing I said was anti-trans in any way and nobody engaging was arguing or being disrespectful.

Someone asked me which male orgs excluded transmen so I went back to comment and got a message saying my comments had been deleted I don't know what their policy is but I'm really surprised to be honest (I don't know why though, I guess this is just How Things Are now).

Give it up for the cause Lang we must all make sacrifices!

OTOH, this thread has reminded me that supermarkets do own brand Marmite. What with the Tories about to crash the economy with Brexit, that may be a thrifty swap worth investigating.

I can confirm that ASDA own brand yeast extract is pretty yummy. And about a fifth of the price of marmite, for anyone boycotting but still wanting a yeasty fix
