Why don't we all just identify as Len McCluskey?

Unite union leader Len McMcluskey was one amongst many who put his name on this letter published in the Morning Star: morningstaronline.co.uk/article/improving-climate-debate-around-proposed-changes-gender-recognition-act

I read this morning that he was getting huge amounts of abuse for it, so I went and looked in the obvious place: twitter.com/LenMcCluskey/status/1014480431658487808.

Not one single death threat, threat of violence to him or anything remotely like any of the women who similarly put their heads above the parapet. Not even the old stalwart Pink News has anything much to say about his involvement.

I wonder why that could possibly be not wondering at all Hmm

Bullies and cowards, the lot of them.

Its an interesting phenomena, and its one that adds weight to the theory that online trans rights activists are male rights activists. Because this is identical to the behaviour of male rights activists.
They just don't criticize other men.

I shall henceforth identify as a burly, hairy union man, not afraid of a bit of argy bargy, prone to calling colleagues comrades and I shall call a motion for everyone who posts on the thread to identify thusly. Do I have a seconder?

Do I have a seconder?

Yayyy-eeesss....!

Er, I mean:

YES

I'm a Unite member, and rang my local office, and then (on their suggestion) the head office, to indicate my support for McClusky. (Using my deep, manly voice, of course.)
