After watching a rather painful news item yesterday on the announcements on gay conversion and the gender reforms, it hammered home the problems of the 4 letter anacronym and debating discrimination in the 4 components as 1 and the same. LGBT in daily life, relationships, family, work. All different issues with no distinction to their nuances as separate issues. Many MNetters for example accept gay and lesbian protections but not changing gender, understandable.
Also reminds me of a discussion I had recently that what we are seeing is the same as the campaign against gays in the 80s. Then it was about aids, not its about sterility and surgery, etc and now we have openly gay teachers and children etc.
