The pussy footing was because the Wright Stuff is now being produced by a new "woke" production company. Matthew Wright was fairly factual person amd the rumour was he left the show because they tried to make him apologize for Ann Hegarty saying that Paris Lees was born male

New production team explains a lot actually.

I remember that episode and reading threads on here about it. Wouldn't be surprised if that incident was part of a long list of things that caused MW To quit.

I used to watch the Wright stuff on occasion

Not going to bother now, i wouldnt say i was a massive fan of Mathews but the show hasnt got anything going for it now he is gone
