Press stalking celebrity "bumps"

Forgive me if this has been discussed before. But does anyone else get furious at the way the press stalk certain pregnant famous women for pictures of their pregnancy "bumps" (I can hardly bring myself to type the word). Often starting before there are any signs or even announcement of pregnancy.

I realise some celebs have muddied the waters, going right back to Demi Moore I suppose.

For all the others who don't want to play the game and for pregnant women everywhere it boils my piss.

Younger members may not remember when poor Princess Diana was photographed in her bikini when she was five months pregnant with Prince William. Paps had crawled through mangrove swamp miles away with their long lenses to get those. If they could get someone to crawl through the sewers to pregnancy test every flush of the loo from Meghan and Harry's place they'd do it.

The twee language of the "bump". The objectification. The fact that pregnancy is in fact quite common and normal and lots of women do it.

I don't think I'm articulating my reasoning on this very well so over to you but it just really really bugs me. And I'm not even pregnant or famous!
