So I can have hairy toes.
I explained beauty is a construct by the society you live in and got a ‘yeahMum‘

I literally have really hairy toes. Thick black hairs. But I'm a woman.

FoldyRoll · 03/07/2018 01:46

In one edition of the Bash Street Kids, teacher told everyone that hairy toes mean you're clever. The school cat ended up top of the form.

LadyJaneGreyspen · 03/07/2018 06:44

My toes are hairy. Does that make me non binary ?

OP posts:

Surely that's not quite right. The kid clearly wants to be a Hobbit.

emwithme · 03/07/2018 07:08

I agree with Ihuntmonsters

Clearly a hobbit in the making. Offer second breakfast and see how well it's received

BlackeyedSusan · 03/07/2018 07:23

goodness more proof that I am a hobbit man

Bespin · 03/07/2018 07:38

Should we not be concerned that a grown woman wants to be a boy and not a man lol

AncientLights · 03/07/2018 07:44

Don't think Bespin has quite got it.

Bespin · 03/07/2018 07:50

Sorry I was using the ironic font in my reply

I have very hairy toes (DP is pretty convinced I'm a hobbit) - I have in the past tried plucking (more painful than any other place I have tried removing hair by force), shaving (rubs on socks and shoes and gets infected), and cream (same as the shaving, but with more ingrowing).

So now I just have hairy toes. Sod em. And I bloody wear flipflops sometimes.

Do you know how many disapproving looks or comments I've had when out in public with hairy toes?

None. No-one cares. Same as my unshaven legs and under-arms when swimming. Not a dicky bird from anyone.

This may be because I'm older now, generally with a couple of kids hanging off me, and definitely with a fuck-off attitude to that kind of thing though, so I suspect the social consequences would be harsher for your daughter OP.
