Female Socialization in action.

thebewilderness · 30/06/2018 07:56

Mental illness is no excuse for destroying people.
There is no justification.

Howyoualldoworkme · 30/06/2018 07:57

My very thoughts thebewilderness
Bugger that for a game of soldiers!

Female Socialization in action

Nope. Just an awareness of how what we say will be twisted and used to support the narrative that MN is full of hate blah blah blah.

All I'm saying is think about what your posting. I'm not saying don't discuss it.

First big applause to show support for MF women.
Second Terfleaks has also posted screenshots of what is supposed to be a close but not secret forum of parents with ROGD. These tactics need to be call out.

Fancy there is no Transleaks or GCW publishing from close groups, not failling that low.

On the contrary GCW Call out trans impact by making accesible what is already in The public do main such as transcrimeuk.com or The wonderful vídeos of Magdalene Besrns

TimeLady · 30/06/2018 08:02

I don't see any reason why their identity should be kept secret, particularly given that they were prepared to doxx others. The person involved may be an infiltrator in other groups. People, esp group admins, need to be aware.

Playing the 'poor little me' victim card in such circumstances is disgraceful.

OvulaRasa · 30/06/2018 08:05

Proudestmum, may i copy your info to pass it on to the other GC forum, please?

Kyanite · 30/06/2018 08:06

Unless you have absolute proof that a certain person did this, no mention of their name should be made.

Amalfimamma · 30/06/2018 08:06

Is doxxing not illegal in the UK?

AngryAttackKittens · 30/06/2018 08:06

I was not in the ManFriday group, but if the people who were feel hate towards the person who doxxed them I wouldn't blame them. It's a perfectly reasonable emotional response in the circumstances.

AngryAttackKittens · 30/06/2018 08:09

Doxxing her, however, no - take the moral high ground, don't do things you would rightly condemn others for doing. Attempting to prosecute her for doxxing others on the other hand? Yes, if it's legally possible.

I'm shocked reading this. Before I was aware of this person on MN (bearing in mind she used her real name on here) I 'knew' her in a facebook group for a bit. She was an absolute liability. She was falling out with people left right and centre. She was describing meeting someone in real life who I knew (in a professional capacity) and how she'd made a complaint against them as they'd bullied her. I couldn't understand it as the person as I knew them was utterly lovely.

I'm not sure why I'm even posting this other than I'm completely horrified she's now done this. To be difficult and provoke arguments is one thing, to put other women at risk is disgusting.

I'm not on the Man Friday list. I wanted to get more involved but having a disability means I feel too vulnerable. There's something about being physically frailer that makes you less happy taking risks. And it's people like this woman who confirm to me that it's not safe to get too involved. I would rather participate more but I can't when things like this happen

Flowers to anyone involved. It makes me sick that women can be frightened for their livelihood and their lives for being outed for holding GC views and meeting up to discuss them. What have we come to.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 30/06/2018 08:46

Was it who I think it is? Ex intern? Name in the like domain? 'I'm so so sooooryyyyy I accidentally screen shotted something'?

That one?

gendercritter · 30/06/2018 08:49

No worse than that Fekko. A MNer. A member of the Man Friday group. A so-called gc feminist who it seems is a very complex character in reality.

BeyondRaggydoll · 30/06/2018 08:50

No fekko (ha, fekko autocorrects to feminist!) its an older woman who has been vocally GC and has demonstrated a bit of a tendency to fall out with others

AsAProfessionalFekko · 30/06/2018 08:59

On what grounds? Have the police been informed? Lawyers? Facebook?

chocolatebooksandwine · 30/06/2018 09:05

I see that on a pastebin post that has been removed, it's said that the list of Man Friday members has been handed to the police for 'bullying an older woman' - can someone reassure me that the police will not take this seriously?

Ereshkigal · 30/06/2018 09:06

I have no interest in proving or disproving my credentials on here because I could tell you I was the supreme ruler of the universe and there is no way to prove or disprove it.

It's interesting that you have "no issue with self ID". Because that's what men who say they are women can do too, pretty much. Just an aside.
