Sorry can’t work out how to make the link clicky, but I thought this might be of interest of people.

Miranda Yardley and Amy Challener were on the radio yesterday talking about Miranda’s twitter ban and linking it to the wider political and ideological debate. I thought it was quite an even handed piece. Both got their say.

I also thought the female presenter (can’t remember her name) was quite questioning about ‘cis’ terminology - was asking for clarification in a ‘what’s that again?’ sort of way.

Not sure about the gender professor to whom they appealed for a final say - they were quite waffly and just finished up say that this debate could take us to a better place/understanding eventually. Hmmmm - not sure about them.

Anyway it’s worth a listen.

The presenter doesn’t understand the crux of the issue, they confuse sex and gender from the very start.
