On Netflix.

anyone else seen it?

If you haven't.. you need/ought to go watch it, I don't think I've felt so moved in a long fucking time.

Yes, it's just fantastic. Essential viewing.

NoFanJoe · 29/06/2018 00:38

Yes, well worth watching

I watched it after seeing it mentioned here. I really liked it: funny, thought-provoking and so raw it was uncomfortable to watch at times. It was quite unlike any stand up set I've ever seen. She's very clever and really got me thinking about comedy and the kind of glib male stuff I've always enjoyed.

Thank you for posting this, Squidgee - after reading this last night I watched Nanette and I was blown away by it. She's funny, of course, but much more than that I was so moved by her story and impressed by her incisive analysis. One of the best things I've watched in a while.

Lottapianos · 29/06/2018 08:20

I watched it last night after seeing it recommended on another thread on here. I thought it got off to a very gentle start and was not expecting how it changed about half an hour in. I'm not sure I've ever felt shaken by a comedy show before. I've been thinking about her non stop since. Brave, brilliant stuff. Please watch it if you get a chance

ITs still on my mind this morning, I want to watch it again I think.

There was another thread about her and Nanette - all praising it - she's such an inspiration - I want to watch it again - it stayed with me for days

PeakPants · 06/07/2018 20:59

Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I just watched it and was blown away. It was amazing. I was in floods of tears at some points.

enoughisenough12 · 06/07/2018 21:34

I'm saving to watch it again. I know there's so much I missed first time.

I do hope that she knows just how much of what she said resonates with so many women. Utterly brilliant!

Urbanbeetler · 06/07/2018 21:36

Yes - extremely moving. I thought she was wonderful.

Theswaggyotter · 06/07/2018 22:54

I just watched it - she’s an amazing woman. Really moving and powerful, actually made me cry. I hope she’s ok and not too exhausted from doing that show
