He keeps shouting over women talking.

He is a total arse he shouts and shouts on these debates usually over women his valid point is just lost, I can't watch him because of his roaring

Yes, he does shout over women (and men actually) - but he was dead right on this. This is an important issue - and clearly, from what he said, Piers gets it.

Interesting that 96% of viewers agreed with him too. I feel sure that there will be a groundswell of public opinion that will rise and say "stop the madness!" - because most people seem to think that the world has gone mad.

Its a sad day when i agree with Piers but he's dead right on this. Shame so few famous voices are willing to stand up and say the same.

I haven’t watched it, I admit, because under normal circumstances he would make my piss boil, but I’m glad that people with his sort of clout are finally getting on board with this issue.

How can the AGSA claim to empower girls and teach them anything is possible whilst also giving credence to the idea there is something inherently wrong with being a girl?

I'm going to assume that anyone with intense dysphoria that cannot see themselves as anything but male would not stand for being in an all girls school.

I suspect the bigger issue at all girls schools are the non binaries and it would be wise for the AGSA to look into why so many girls ( who don't actually want to be or necessarily present as boys) don't want to be known as girls.

So much of the prevalence of NB in young girls I believe comes from our hyper sexualised culture and their desperation to escape it.

What makes you think the general public doesn't like Piers? Just because left wing feminist don't like him it doesn't mean that the general public doesn't.

Good for Piers Morgan. I am cheered each time someone in the mainstream media comes out with a gender critical perspective.

TRAs have put a lot of work in to affect public opinion. They have succeeded in demonizing women who object to the loss of our spaces and opportunities as "so called feminists" during their very effective lobbying for trans rights. But they have not succeeded in persuading the wider public that sex doesn't exist or that boys can be girls. The more Piers bangs on about these issues the better.

I also cheer when someone mainstream come out with a GC position, but I do wish they would articulate the points coherently. He was just too shouty to be clearly understood.

Damn, for the umpteenth time, the FWR board is not anti trans. It's pro the rights and opportunities of women and girls.

Feminists are all for being gender non conforming. People should be able to wear what they want, present how they want and no one should be targeted for it.

There's no need for conflict, should men who identify as women be reasonable about what's acceptable in terms of intruding on single sex spaces. We've had a number of them post here in agreement with the feminist position. These are mostly transsexuals, who identify with rather than as women, and they are eager not to cause alarm or distress.

The current huge increase in the number of males who identify as women has brought out a very different type of MtF. They have brought hostility and actual violence to the table. The violence has been all one way - unless you count pointing out that people can't change sex is a form of "violence".

The porn associated with identifying as a woman is marked by a very ugly misogyny. The language and approach of today's trans activists makes it clear that a lot of them really hate women.

It's not unreasonable for women to observe this misogyny and draw their own conclusions.

MN feminist's priorities and principles are all about the rights of women and girls. The clue is in the name feminism. Transwomen are transwomen - not women or girls.

Quasi-feminists, IMO, are those that start going on about feminism being "inclusive" of those who are born male.

Piers, notably, mentioned his own daughter several times. On this issue, it seems that he is all about the women and girls too. Which is a good thing.

If we can't talk about women and girls, and mean biological women and girls, then we can't describe the impact of sexism and discrimination on women and girls.
