Well MNHQ we have the start of the exodus. Posters leaving due to these new guidelines that throw women under the bus.

A poster has deleted their account today due to the upset and stress of getting a strike for saying something that is 100% true. We know it's true because TRA's posted it on Twitter themselves, yet we post it and it's kick off time at HQ

It's a fucking disgrace HQ WOMEN are your target audience yet you don't give a fucking shiny shit about us. Not a fucking shit and it stinks.

More and more women will leave and you will be left with nothing more than people who present as opposite to their birth sex sitting posting about heels, make-up, clothes and fucking knitting.

I want to thank all of the women who have posted on this thread. I know some of you were very nervous to put your head above the parapet, I know you are afraid to post on any other thread too. You have shown, women can and will come together even when we are afraid to stand up to injustice.

I think this is a great idea and wish I had the time to do it. I can't manage to keep up with all the threads in FWR as it is! But if anyone does have the time, it would be fantastic. Other MN members would not react well to being policed as harshly as FWR is, I'm pretty sure. Being told you're not allowed to say something factual is a very quick way to get someone to look more closely at what's going on.

Yep, lots of the busier newbies on these threads are evidently terribly shy about telling women what they should think.

I think it's less that it's being brigaded and more that posters who were previously a bit intimidated, or didn't feel part of the obvious clique, now feel more comfortable posting since mumsnet have clamped down on the less savoury aspects. I've read a lot of women saying that they tend to avoid the feminist section due to all the trans threads and others saying that they feel it is drowning outnother feminist issues like the recent abortion debate.

I think you know that this is total BS. But it works for your cause so hell why not. It isn't really [redacted] trans taking over the board and needling people. Not at all.
