I was dipping into Diane Atkinson's 'Rise Up, Women!' and realised today's date. I only very recently learnt about Christina Broom, a photographer who took many images of suffrage events, so thought I'd mention it here.
I'm sorry I can't make links, but there are many images available online. 500,000 people in Hyde Park, 20 platforms for speakers, numerous brass bands, trains chartered from all over, many beautiful banners - amazing day!
