Think people all think ALIKE?

Think female empowerment cant come unless women adopts the mental thoughts being fed to them by ngos?

Even consider and reject that radical leftist feminism actually DESTROYS the concept of "woman" and "female"?

Welcome to "illiberal" feminism.

Where Women OPT TO THINK LIKE THIS:.........

  • Women are strong, powerful, capable and mentally gifted
  • Women can take on most challenges that they set their hearts and minds to
  • Women do not have to have EQUITY. Equity means forcing men into professions in equal proportions regardless of ability or desire - where women dominate - like nursing, carer roles, teaching etc. Equity means forcing women into roles that they may not be interested in like pest removal, heavy lifting, dangerous machine operation, etc.
  • Women need equal opportunity
  • The patriarchy has benefits- helpful men who open doors, carry heavy groceries, cut the grass, and leave many home decorating decisions to 'the wife'. The patriarchy doesn't demand equal floor space in clothing, jewlery, shoes, perfume and personal care sections in department stores. The patriarchy doesn't demand equal shelf space for hair coloring/dyes. The patriarchy protects a woman lacking self defense training, from attack. The patriarchy takes lots of shit and then is still expected to be a good hands on father. Yey to these men. Marriage under the patriarchy was a way to protect the woman and her offspring in economic circumstances where she couldn't or wouldnt provide.
  • Females are not being oppressed as a group, in fact we need to celebrate the freedoms we do have, under a patriarchy, which are limitless.
  • Women who radically fight to alter our langage to remove the male/female dynamic, are destroying womanhood. They are ENEMIES. One example is the government no longer referring to women. ie. "People with cervixes" should apply for a smear. Soon the word MUM, Mother & Father will be erased/prohibited by such extreme activists.
  • Women who choose to support oppression of other women through forced headcoverings, forced marriage, forced child bearing, forced non-state court use, forced religion, forced driving & language and choice of partner/husband restrictions are helping to destroy womens rights, not protect them. Key word is FORCE. Do feminists really like FORCE?
  • Women who HATE MEN, or want to neuter them and turn them into BETA MALES, make women look like evil creatures
  • Women who knowingly taunt and seduce and then claim harrassment are not feminists

LONG LIVE PRAGMATIC, FAIR MINDED, MEN LOVING, FAMILY LOVING FEMINISTS!

Karyatide, well... at least you showed an attempt at a thoughtful response, I'll give you that. I'd like to see the theory above put to a test.. perhaps in the construction industry. I doubt it would pan out though because construction is physically straining and unless women work hard on strength training across the board, men will always have the advantage... and that is why the value is higher. Which country perceives doctors as a lower status than teachers- CUBA? Any other countries?

NoSuchThingAsAlpha: You are confused. Google instructed its HR department to not reward "white male characteristics" and then they listed these as Objectivity, Goal oriented.... and on and on. I share your concern.

Based upon the remainder of the comments, the women here have NO CLUE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT and that's great!!!! It means you have not yet been infected by American Feminism.

Ireneony- you GET IT. Now why don't you make some intelligent comments on the subject of whether it is FEMINIST to allow someone to FORCE A WOMAN to do something she doesn't want to??????? Go ahead, take a stab at it....

ps. How many women here LIKE ALPHA MALES.

ALPHA = a take charge kind of guy (but not always, and it doesn't mean insensitive). Alpha's are usually leaders. I for example am an alpha type woman, but damn it gets tiring- some times (more times than not) I just want the hubby to make the damn decisions and plans!!!!

I've got an Ocado delivery between 8 and 9am tomorrow.

Beamur · 20/06/2018 21:20

I'd describe myself as fair minded, pragmatic, (some) men loving, family loving feminist. But the rest of the post doesn't really resonate with me.
I think my much loved husband would call himself a beta male and he certainly chooses the home decor and does most of the cooking at home - because he's good at that. I do the stuff I'm good at. We don't feel constrained by gendered expectations.
I do agree that people shouldn't be forced into roles they don't want, but I'm pretty sure I'd be coming at that argument from a totally different perspective.
But y'know, I really have better things to do with my time right now.

Is it time to start sharing recipes? I had to buy a book last time, but hey ho.......

FermatsTheorem · 20/06/2018 21:28

Maybe we could have a Greek recipes thread - we could work all the way from alpha to omega.

Alpha is for aubergine - anyone got a good Moussaka recipe?

Beamur · 20/06/2018 21:30

My beta husband cooks a wonderful Greek dish of pork and potatoes with lemon.

Beamur · 20/06/2018 21:31

Sorry, I missed the alphabet convention. Grin

Ireneony · 20/06/2018 22:00

How about I'll make some sensible comments when you do.

Can I be really controversial and post a vegan moussaka recipe? Sorry, not sorry

This one looks quite nice actually

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 20/06/2018 22:15

Hubby is a word.

CrustyCob · 21/06/2018 19:52

Gamma and eggs for me for tea, with a side order of word salad.
