Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Grey area.

Afternoon all.

I have had my eyes opened to this whole "gender/sex" business recently.

I don't want men dressing up as women (for kicks) in my spaces or partially transitioned men either.

However my grey area is:- if someone has decided that they are fully transitioned and have no penis then I'm ok with it. But how does one police this?

Am I alone in this?

There are lots of laws that aren’t ‘policed’.
For example, you need a driving license to drive. You don’t need to carry your license or to ‘prove’ you have a license before you drive a car. If there are any issues, you then have to produce one and if you can’t you will be held to account for breaking the law.
The protective aspect of the law comes with the requirement to have a license and the punishment dished out of you break the law.
I can’t see why this cannot work for permissible sex segregated provision. The law should clearly stipulate what single sex means and people should be expected to uphold the law. If they don’t they should face the consequences.

I think a lot of people feel like this. The old ‘honor system’ was working well until some men decided to abuse it causing problems for women, children and transsexuals.

The law has got to come down in favour of reality and single sex provision.

Ideally moving forward feminine men will be free to express themselves without resorting to surgery. Anybody who’s already post OP we’ll just go back to politely ignoring , safe in the knowledge that if they do cause any problems the laws on our side to have them removed from our spaces.
