Have recently joined it and I am confused, I’m following Miranda Yardley, just trying to find feminists I follow on twitter so far, but I’m confused as to how it works, there are private groups, and then public chats, is that right ? I’d read it might be a good forum for feminist chat, so I’m interested. I suppose I just need to browse it more and it will become evident how it works ? I’m reticent to post much GC stuff on twitter as I’m on there under my real, rather unusual name.

I registered but like you find it confusing as it seems to be private chats which seem a bit intrusive when you don't really know people or a couple of feminist groups one of which seems to be nearly all USA women. I've not found a public chat bit. The groups seem to have separate chats to the group posts which is confusing.

Yes that’s what is confusing me. A feminist on twitter suggested it, so I registered but I couldn’t work it out. I keep going back and looking at it, had. Another go this morning. Probably I need to spend a bit of time navigating it.

I'm still working my way around MeWe and I'm also on Twitter under a different name. On MeWe there are several feminist groups set up by women that are on MN ans Twitter. DM me if you'd like the group names.

I clicked on the title thinking it was about one of those things you can use to pee in cars. Total read fail.

They've always intrigued me, though I can already pee standing up. Learned in the Greek islands when the loos were gross.
