MNHQ?

Certainly, many people think it was good that women have been told that certain terms are no longer permitted

Now, where are we?

I think it was a good reminder that we are the product that MN sells to advertisers, and they think our objecting too boisterously to the way women's rights are being undermined makes us less valuable as a commodity.

Well, after all, the people with the ovaries will still get pregnant and need to buy nappies, baby clothes, etc, even if they're no longer allowed to refer to themselves as a discrete group. Let's face it, we all know who'll still be wiping the bums and doing the school run.

Dont forget the cleaning! Grin

and the shopping, particularly the shopping.

given many of us are in charge of family budgets of varying sizes it would be a bit daft to piss off loads of women.

MrsTerryPratchett · 14/06/2018 02:57

I don't clean. I do spend a lot of money on holidays and electronics.

BingTheButterflySlayer · 14/06/2018 10:21

I do as little cleaning as I can get away with... bloody love nice shiny electronic gadgets though. Since my husband suffers from terminal indecisionitis I make most spending decisions about the household income to be honest.

In my house it was my husband, he was a House husband, as I could earn more money and did not want to be the one at home, When I was off work it was a joint effort,

Well I suppose it made some people on twitter very happy.

The glee at the thought than MNHQ were silencing those nasty uppity opinionated women was a tad sickening. But hey-ho, we're all used to it by now.

dolorsit · 14/06/2018 16:12

Yes, but that glee will have made some lurkers go hmmmm

WeAreGerbil · 14/06/2018 16:14

So, um, where are we then?!

(I also do a lot of shopping of everything. So does DD if that's any help.)
