Woman's Place UK is coming to Hastings on Wednesday, 20th June so if you live in the south east please look out for tickets once they're available and come along.

We're getting threats already so could do with all the solidarity possible, please spread the word.

We haven't announced the speakers yet but it's going to be great, we've had real problems in Hastings and surrounding areas so this is long overdue.

If you are all happy for a GC bloke to come I'm definitely in and I'm also volunteering for any escorting duties to/from the venue.

I’m in and so are a couple of others feminists I’ll be giving a ride to.

Just to say please do not let the recent threat put you off coming. We are in contact with the police and they are being brilliant.

The event will go ahead, we have every right to talk and we are not hateful in any way, it will be a respectful conversation about women's rights and how to protect them.
