I started a new thread about the Lush spy cops issue because I really wanted to talk about the problem of undercover police officers abusing women - rather than the ethics of Lush exploiting this issue in a marketing campaign. Here is more info.
The security services have been spying on various left wing/alternative political organisations singe 1968. One method of gaining access and acceptance within spied on groups was for undercover officers to build relationships with women already in the groups. Between 1985 and 2010 there are only three or four years when an undercover officer was not in a taxpayer- funded relationship with a woman campaigner. These women have never been convicted of any crime. Some of these officers had wives and children, while also developing sexual relationships with campaigners. One undercover police officer even had a child with one of the campaigners.

There's a petition trying to get Savid Javid to improve the public inquiry because they're just trying to cover everything up and derail tit (surprise surprise!)
