I checked, it's real: Nathan Larson is a paedophile who fantasises about raping his 12 year old daughter, raped his now ex-wife, thinks women shouldn't work and ask to be raped and make false accusations, and is a white supremacist.

Hopefully the voters will tell him where to go and bombard him with rotten food at the results announcement but this being Virginia, I'm not willing to bet money. They mostly voted for Trump, after all.

The whole bit about reduced birthrates, surely that's what the world needs, less humans. Of course we could force all men to not work and stay home and look after the kids, but I expect he wouldn't be so keen on that. Not that you'd want him anywhere near your kids anyway.

I cannot believe he can run for office. I seriously think the whole world is going to shit, I can't remember a time when everything felt so unstable, and I grew up in the 80s with the cold war and the threat of nuclear war. This feels more scary, like the threat is all around you rather than on the other side of a wall.

Anyone can run for Congress and in Virginia, even felons - they recently changed the law. As if he's not bad enough he also threatened to kill the president and spent a year and a half in jail.

I think it's highly unlikely that he'll get anywhere since even the libertarians have cut ties with him.

He doesn't have custody of his daughter and he's only seen her once thankfully.

All sorts of loons run for office. All it means is someone filled out a form and publicly announced they were running. He's not got a political party and he's not going to win.

The people of Virginia may be conservative, but they're not demons. They're not going to vote for a pedophile.
