Hi.

I am loving all the new names that are coming onto here and defending womens' and girls' rights.

Every day there are new people that are voicing their opinions. Every day, new angles that an old leftie like me sees presented that I hadn't thought of before.

Every day - more lurkers are understanding the threats to females and how changes could impact all of us.

Thank you. Each and every one. Keep up the most excellent work.

That is all.

Agreed

I only came to buy a loaf of bread Confused

It was a Facebook friend, I knew we shared the same politics and came to see what she was posting about self id and how she was a bit miffed about the Labour Party stance. I am nosy, I had to come see what it was all about. I lurked at first, and then fumed at the cotton ceiling nonsense. So signed up and joined in!

I came for the bra intervention thread. Then, oh, there's a feminism page...And that was 3 weeks ago.

Thank you to all you wonderful women who post. You've reawakened my feminist mojo. Now, back to lurking and learning...

TERF I'm not a newbie to mumsnet, as I've been a terminal lurker for years. Not just a couple of years - it's in the double numbers.

Despite not being a proactive poster, I've got a hell of a lot out of being here, and the community of mainly women supporting each other on issues, not just female issues, just life stuff.

People of mumsent:- you are awesome for just talking about stuff.

But this issue. Beyond any issues, makes me post. Still rarely. And probably naively with debating points that the experts just groan at and move on from!

But this issue brought me out of the wordwork to shout about here, and other places.

Thank goodness for Mumsnet for giving us this breathing space to talk about an issue that so fundamentally affects women and girls' rights.
