Sexual harassment and abuse are to do with the coach being all-powerful,” she warned. “There is also a false belief that someone who is technically competent is morally competent".

She was in a civil partnership with Diana Woodward and her work has had a lasting impact on safeguarding in sport.

Thanks OP, I hadn't heard of her either. It shouldn't but it does still amaze me every time I read about a woman whose work & contributions are so remarkable and yet have been buried/suppressed/erased from the public narrative. So many women unrecognised for the amazing people they are/were.

Well that's certainly worked out well for the FA - and the SFA here in Scotland as well with current court cases in both jurisdictions and persistent rumours about Celtic boys club ring.
I bet they wished they'd listened to her now!
