Sealions, seagulls and other trolling methods.

I think I understand what sea lions and seagulls are.

Is there a name for this behaviour;
its like sealioning a thread, but instead of the polite 'please help me understand', the troll keeps posting 'I understand what you have said, you said XYZ' when the poster said 'ABC'?

Wilful misunderstanding? I agree it's bloody annoying.

Straw man argument is how it is designated in the list of logical fallacies.
I just call it lying.
