What does it even mean?

So Facebook in its infinite wisdom shares this rather odd event with me.

Apparently the focus society has on achieving female orgasms is "white, cis gendered, able bodied and thin"
And orgasms are an achievement of men. (Ha ha)
I am reading this right? I fear I've fallen down a rabbit hole.

Maybe it would make more sense after the free drink. Or maybe a bottle.

(Hope that's clicky. No idea how to do it. Just like the female orgasm)

What does it even mean?

No, sorry not a clue. I got lost in the bit about a man achieving a female orgasm.

cistersofterfy · 14/05/2018 20:48

In my experience, it was women who helped me achieve my (very much female) orgasms. Although current partner is a man and manages very nicely thank you. I'm also pretty adept on my own Blush

No its about female orgasm.
It is saying society focusses on how men can MAKE women orgasm , and on female pleasure in a way that only addresses white slim het able bodied women.
The event presumably then looks at self pleasure as a female centered act in an inclusive way.
Sounds ok.

KatVonSweet · 14/05/2018 20:52

I know right! I was hopelessly confused by that. Grin

I thought the focus on female orgasm was mainly cos we don't get them half the time.

Apparently in the middle ages if a man didn't make a woman orgasm them she wouldn't get pregnant. Hence they made a bit of effort.
That ^ could be crap but I hope it's true... like it was one small perk before you died in childbirth.

Bizarre but pretty funny OP Grin

I quite like the sound of that actually.

I think we have a problem with female sexuality in this country; in that the prevailing attitudes towards it do not serve women. But that's a whole 'nother thread.

KatVonSweet · 14/05/2018 20:57

I'll serve myself happily!
