Quick rant - anyone watching the wright stuff?

Just switched it on and they were talking about harvey weinstein's wife.

The man on the panel described her as a "beneficiary" of his behaviour.

WTAF?

I don't know the details but it seems that she has a fashion label and he would get the stars to wear her clothes.

Well OK sure but how do you get from that to an implication that, in the context of an article with her saying she had no idea, that she is a "beneficiary" essentially of rape?

Who is this man? What an utter fucker. So many people are utterly unable to place the blame where it belongs. There's an accusation in there somewhere, isn't there. Towards her.

How it went was that the woman on the panel said, I believe her that she didn't know, how awful, and in public too

He said in a sneery smug way "well, she was a beneficiary"

I mean, what?

The other man on the panel said awful for the kids too to bring it back round I guess. I suppose they were "beneficiaries" as well...

I think the implication would be that

she did know he was unfaithful
she did know that he was a serial sex offender
she turned a blind eye as she liked the money

What a guy! This sort of shit seriously makes me lose faith in society. It's a sentiment that is echoed all over the place.

Watching. Well spotted seeing how other man turned it round to deter blame on first man and questioning of him on alleging wife's implication. I missed it- just went -what- what was that!
