Well worth a read.

There's another Youtube channel called Mass Resistance where a GP of 40 something years took apart the transgender fad and the shoddy non-scientific research of the transactivist orgs in an hour lecture. He was a religious person, but he still has decades of medical practice.

There was a thread about it quite recently.

Poor Jazz.

I can understand the parents thinking they are doing the right thing. Whether you agree with that is another matter.

But why put it all over the internet and on TV?
Random people all over the world now know about your 16 year olds micro penis.

Who does that?

OlennasWimple · 11/05/2018 20:49

I wish ten years ago someone got their arms around Jazz, removed them from their toxic family, and just said that it's OK to be an effeminate boy and there should never be any pressure on a child to provide financially for their family

Doctors are very reluctant to diagnose Munchausen syndrome by proxy in cases of transgender identifying children.

I have said before and I will say again that Lupron will be this generation of childrens thalidomide disaster.

I’m sure someone wins out of Jazz. Just not Jazz.

Of that I have no doubt!

Agreed. As frustrating as some statements from Jazz have been Jazz is ultimately a child whose parents have allowed them to be put on a path that will ultimately be harmful to them. Even if you're on board with childhood transition there's a long history of child stars going off the rails in their teens/young adulthood, so to put a kid in that situation with the gender stuff as an added pressure is incredibly irresponsible.

Jazz's story really troubles me.
That was a very interesting read.

Terfing · 12/05/2018 01:40

On the clips I've seen of Jazz's show, she looks quite upbeat and happy. I think she's still too young to process what her parents have done to her and how unnecessarily hard her life will be as a result. I truly hope that she stays happy, despite everything.

thebewilderness · 12/05/2018 01:48

When the child was coming out of anesthesia they were interrupted to be told they were being filmed.
That should have been the moment that everyone watching realized that Jazz was performing. That there was nothing real about this or any reality teevee show.

DarthArts · 12/05/2018 03:07

What troubles me is that this book is being touted as an appropriate introduction to the gender debate to children in kindergarten.

I'm worried that we are seeing "fairytales" becoming not part of storytelling but educational experience.

Don't be fooled by clips, she has suffered from depression for a very long time.
