I've just found this thread...this might fit better in AMBU

After having an discusion with friends at school in the 00s about bisexuality, I couldn't awser a question about my thoughts as a christian...I have felt uncomftable about the BGLT movement since...am agnostic.

Speaking to an older lesbian friend recently, she was glad to hear of a young person who can't get their head around this movement...we both think that gay rights are important but the trans, no gender thing is a bit of a fad and people jumping on the bandwagon of genuine discrimiation (murder, unable to rent or buy as a couple, etc).

I think the gender your born as is what you are, if you want to identify with something other than that there is either a mental health (body image etc) or social issue (girls/boys toys, only women can dress up and take caring roles, men interested in childcare are pedophiles, only men work in technology and enjeenring"

I've become particully emotional about this now I'm pregnant...I think children should be able to chosse their friends, lothes and toys but not their gender until they are adults and have been through purberty.

I don't feel like I can talk about it publicly because of political correctness and being acussed of discrimitation... There is campains for free speach at univercities going on which I think is very important.
