Right. I've decided to bite the bullet and buy some feminist books. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't like fiction, I don't think I own any fiction to be honest, so don't worry about "heavy" books

You can’t go wrong with the classics - The Female Eunuch, The Second Sex and Sexual Politics are all excellent reads.

Great suggestions. I would also add Backlash, Demonic Males and Girls Will Be Girls (poorly written, but interesting).

I'm halfway through Mary Beard Women & Power at the moment, has a lot of Ancient Greek references, very interesting read.
