I couldn't be bothered to find out which bulb was not working in my car when the bulb fault light came on and I asked my partner to have a look and change it for me. I am more than capable of doing it myself Grin

(Not enough to do a great deal about it though!)

I'm a Feminist AND I want full choice of what I can/can't want to do/fix/know about etc.

So I'm a Feminist, but I choose not to want to fix my car. (Neither does my DH)

BabyItsAWildWorld · 03/05/2018 18:53

I'm a feminist but I'm really into clothes and makeup. After the feminism board, my 2nd most frequented topic is style and beauty.

^Yep, same here.

MillicentF · 03/05/2018 18:56

I'm a feminist and I like clothes and shoes and sparkly shit.

Scribblegirl · 03/05/2018 19:01

@kittyklaws I am Proper Impressed at the spider thing. DH has a fear of scorpions, so we have a deal - if a scorpion comes into the house, I will deal with it. Anything else, he deals with it.

His attempts to raise the fact that we live in south east England has been branded 'irrelevant' by yours truly...

Elendon · 03/05/2018 19:03

I'm a feminist but sometimes I find some women to be absolutely insufferable. Grin

I'm a feminist but I love my Stanley Max - he's the man. The real man.

I'm a feminist but I despise men who say they love all women and are feminists.

I'm a feminist but I hate it when men get brownie points from other feminists for putting away the clothes/towels etc.

Elendon · 03/05/2018 19:05

I'm probably failing as a feminist on this thread because despite being twice married, the second lasting 20 years, I don't have a partner. So obviously I can't be a feminist.

GuiltyFeminist · 03/05/2018 19:59

Grin Elendon

On the contrary, I think some of us are failing to be good feminists by staying with incompetent male partners

I'm a feminist but I do all the cooking (which I enjoy ) while DH does all the gardening. (Which I do not enjoy) And he cleans the kitchen after I've finished cooking. Win-win.

TERFousBreakdown · 03/05/2018 20:18

I'm a feminist but ...

I'm shamelessly exploiting the fact that I'm a token woman at work for my personal advancement. I consider it fair payback for all the times they parade me in public as their diversity hire success story.

StopBeingNosey · 03/05/2018 20:25

I’m a feminist but I’ve had a boob job, have eyelash extensions and wear far too much make up. I trekked to Everest base camp and still put on a full face of makeup before leaving my tent every morning 😁. I wear sensible shoes tough at all times so I feel it balances itself out.

Badgerthebodger · 03/05/2018 20:38

I’m a feminist but...

I was at Leeds fest one year and shamelessly flirted with the boys next door to our patch until they took my tent down (which I’m totes capable of) because it was wet and I could not be fucked.

bottleofredplease · 03/05/2018 20:41

I'm a feminist but I once snogged someone for drugs

CandyMelts · 03/05/2018 20:43

I'm a feminist and sometimes I pull the "ooh I must check with my husband" to get out of being sold something when I cba to be firm.

Badgerthebodger · 03/05/2018 20:44

Bottleofred I’m ashamed at what I used to get up to Blush

Gingerninj · 03/05/2018 20:54

I'm a feminist but DH earns the money

well for the past couple years it's been that way anyway it was once the other way round
