After some more googling etc I spotted the 'transmisogyny' bit and read about the degenerattes a bit more also realised, as wander says, that the issue here is it's been curated by/ for a TRA anti women's group. You wouldn't have an exhibition of things associated with violence towards a group curated by the group responsible in any other context. Sorry to be slow on this.

I certainly can't think of any other instance this would happen. Though to be fair I wouldn't have thought the one above would happen either.

Still utterly shocked that the library have been deleting the comments from concerned women about this normalising/encouraging violence.

This is absolutely horrifying. I can't see how anyone thinks it's a good idea, even the people on the other side of the debate. I've been told so many times that the 'die cis scum' types are fringe extremists who not only don't represent trans people, they don't even represent transactivists.

And yet enough people think that this exhibition is acceptable that it's in a fucking public library and dissenting comments on the library page are being deleted.

There are lots of people commenting positively on how lovely and inclusive the library is for putting on the exhibition.

The TRAs are loving it. The Terfblocker account has this loving display of murder weapons on it now.
