I think a better title for it would have been ‘me me me me and what about me?!’

I said what made me a woman was that I had a womb well it's a better answer than you get from most tras. Obviously born with a womb would be more accurate but apparently this XX female got harassed for saying this

God that video promo is awful isn’t it. Conflating sex with gender and seeming to think that transgenderism is the answer to the issues gender causes. FFS why can’t they see that throwing out gender is the answer?

This is part of the series including the MB dicumentary about how to be a woman, and a debate/panel show on gender. I don’t think I’ll bother watching. They’re pushing for me to attend the panel show and I don’t think I shall do that either. This is all going to be pro medicalising children and removing women’s sex based rights. No something to align oneself with.

To me, it was like saying the grass was green.’

Great line. This series is going to peak trans a lot of people I reckon.

I felt sorry for the women who got flamed for saying a woman is someone with a womb. It is scary to read she has now been so completely convinced that she corrected someone to say 'pregnant person'. I can fully understand having a group of people be mad at you for saying something that basic is frightening that you adjust what you say, but also to adjust your way of fthinking? Shows how female socialisation works.
And why men and transwomen don't get it...

Conflating sex with gender and seeming to think that transgenderism is the answer to the issues gender causes.

It boggles the mind that the answer to feeling constrained by gender is to change the body not the mindset doesn't it?

The solution is to alter the body, force people to be tied down to medicines for the rest of their life, even undergo serious operations - which always carry risk. The idea of saying - masculinity and femininity box us in; give unrealistic ideals to uphold; are a total nonsense because we are all different, lets do away with those restraints and stereotypes is the REALLY DRASTIC approach - almost makes my head explode.
