Damn, just caught them saying goodbye! How did it go?

ReluctantCamper · 27/04/2018 09:40

rats - missed this. can any one do a summary?

grandplans · 27/04/2018 09:48

The only bit I caught was Julia HB saying they'll post it online, so it'll be out there at some point...

CecilyNeville · 27/04/2018 10:43

Oh good, I'll listen to that later.

I think someone else said on Twitter that they were doing something on BBC Radio Wales today - anyone aware of the details? I'll try and find out.

CecilyNeville · 27/04/2018 10:49

I just remembered: was Stephanie Davies-Arai, but I can't find the right place on the broadcast.

fabulous - will listen now, thank you

ReluctantCamper · 27/04/2018 13:03

well done Nic! great piece. I may disagree with JHB on many things but she's entertaining to listen to.

Ineedacupofteadesperately · 27/04/2018 13:06

Really good. It says volumes that Oxford students union refused to come on the program despite being asked twice. Suggests their position won't stand up to scrutiny.

womanformallyknownaswoman · 27/04/2018 13:12

Great interview again - discussing women's rights is now considered transphobic

Julie and Nic made great points including that this issue is now one of free speech to discuss impacts of proposed legislation by those who are affected …

Also loved the remark that none of the students could engage critically on why they were there and that this was no ordinary student demonstration

Waddlelikeapenguin · 27/04/2018 16:26

Thank you, will watch later.

AncientLights · 27/04/2018 16:39

Just listened, good interview. Glad to have JHB as an ally. I hadn't previously thought about students, and Oxford ones at that, not critically engaging in debate and what that means for the wider society. It is very worrying.
