Exposee on Craigslist in the UK, where men are exploiting vulnerable women by offering free rooms/accommodation for sex.

Just watched that too. Talk about preying on the vulnerable. It seems that some men will seek out every opportunity to create a situation where a woman can't say no to sex.

Whatever happened to putting effort into finding a relationship where one can have mutually consensual sex? Or just going out for a one night stand if you're desperate for it?

Why does it seem, increasingly, that men need to obtain sex through some kind of exploitation and coercion? I mean I know there's always been men sexually exploiting women but it seems to have become such a norm for too many men.

I'm not naive but the groundswell of men who think it's perfectly acceptable to obtain sex these ways is sickening. Don't any of them just want to have a normal relationship with a woman, a friendship, companionship?

I have stepsons and nephews in their 20's and 30's, none of them get involved in this kind of shit with women. They just have relationships and encounters with women they like. Doesn't matter if it lasts for 2 weeks or turns into a long-term thing, they and the women they get involved with are on pretty equal terms.

I need to go and boil my head now to remove all the nastiness and cynicism before I can go to sleep.
