Its being reported by numerous sources that suspect Alek Minassian reference the 'Incel Rebellion' and serial killer Elliot Rodger on FB before mowing down 9 people.

Article about Elliot Rodger

Rodger wrote a 'manifesto' (which I won't link to) and killed after being rejected by women.

But its not being treated as terrorism

It should be reported as a terror attack, targeting women. Misogynistic terrorism. But it won't be I'm sure.

SomeKnobend · 24/04/2018 19:03

I agree with Assassinated I just heard a news bulletin saying they're not calling it terrorism and there is no national security threat. So basically calm down everyone, it's no big deal, there's nothing to worry about. Obviously, unless you're a woman.

The ER manifesto is chilling. I read it after he went on his murderous rampage.

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/04/2018 19:29

I'm confused. Hating and killing people based on their sex isn't terrorism but their religion is?

QuentinSummers · 24/04/2018 19:35

Business as usual, isn't it mrstp Sad

I got really annoyed how the Manchester arena bombing wasn't fully recognised as a n attack on women and girls too. We are so expendable.

"Men going on murderous, misogyny-fuelled rampages against women is a perfectly normal and acceptable aspect of Western Society and in no way constitutes a threat to the security of anyone we give a toss about"

Nice that they're prepared to be frank about it
