I’m only looking at threads on FWR now (have made a shortcut on my home page). The Active threads list just looks boring to me now.

This has the added advantage that (a) I spend less time in MN overall and do other stuff instead and (b) I read other threads on FWR I would otherwise not have seen.

Very annoying that outsiders to the site can have so much affect. I suspect they would not appreciate their own tactics of they were being subjected to them instead of t'other way around.

This board is absolutely not up and running, it is a complete figment of your imagination...

Thing is, if they get what they want, it's not like they'd then become loyal MNers, making positive contributions to the MN community, seeing the ads, and.buying the products.

If they shut us up, they'll be off, onto their next politically motivated sabotage project.

you can choose to hide some topics in customise, so they do not appear in active. (maybe why sometimes I only get four topics instead of five)

Sorry, bad word choice. Lass is right. I think what happened is that they have hidden all FWR threads from Active. So you can easily get to the boards but no threads in FWR will appear if you click on Active threads. I think.
