GGUK are publishing an open letter in a Sunday paper about the proposal to allow 'trans' boys to share sleeping, showering etc. accommodation with girls on residential trips. There is a deadline for signing of 9pm tomorrow (Thursday). I can't at the mo figure out how to get it across to here. I'm sure lots of you will sign it (I have of course). Can anyone advise how to make it appear here?

Do you mean how to do a link?

Just copy and paste the web address (if accessing the article on a website?) and paste it in a post. Put double square brackets around the link to make sure it turns into a clickable link.

Call me pedantic but are we supposed to say trans 'boys' or 'girls' if its boy to girl. A boy diagnosed with gender dysphoria transitioning to girl is trans [gender transitioning to not from], whether you believe in the concept of gender or not.

Not quite GGUK but dissident elements of course.

It popped up on FB from Sisters to all Guides, a public group I think, and there is no web address to copy & paste.

Mummybear, a biological male under 18 will forever be a boy to me. No matter what he thinks about it.

Hello, sorry to butt in. I'm the OP of the other post and the leader in the photo on the Sisters To All Guides Facebook page.

The open letter is being sent by me, Fair Play For Women and a number of other leaders, parents, former members and concerned members of the public. The letter is to GGUK and very much not from them. I'm
not sure I'd call myself a dissident but I'm definitely not on GGHQs Christmas card list

In an effort to reduce that confusion, mummybear701, some people use the term transgender identified male, or female, child. They have either been designated transgender or Self ID as transgender.

I do beg your pardon Agnes. In my haste I got it wrong: I knew what I meant but my fingers didn't! Many apologies. I hope it gets more signatures - unsure if 'comments' = signatures? We need to hit it hard. Where else is it being publicised?
