SEEEEEEEXXXXX balance please bbc!

I don't want balance between people who feel male and people who feel female since that inevitably ends up with a great deal more dicks than is fair.

Represent my SEX at 50%.
You'd have to poll the 66 million people in the UK to see how they identify if you wanted to proportionately represent identities.

For the love of God please represent reality.

So in other words we will see men in jeans and jumpers sitting beside men in silky blouses and leather skirts . Wonderful. Well done, BBC. Now how about a SEX balance?😡

Ekphrasis · 02/04/2018 21:26

Yes - male and female in first sentence, then gender.

I'm just wondering how this will play out on things like question time etc...

What’s the betting they will use the word gender and everyone in the country will think gender is a polite way of saying sex?

Ekphrasis · 02/04/2018 21:30

I imagine so as the 'gender pay gap' has had a big bbc thing so far this year. SEX PAY GAP.

So true, Circle!! What is it with the UK...are we supposed to look coyly away and snigger behind our hands every time the word SEX is mentioned? Going by the media you would think so!!
