Isn’t it time to stop using feminine or gender-neutral pronouns to refer to male TRA’s?

Trans ideology is based on a corruption of language and ideas – a deliberate conflation of ‘sex’, ‘gender’, ‘feelings’. We contribute to that corruption if we use ‘she’ or ‘they’ to refer to someone we know to be a man.
Using dishonest language is bad for us as individuals and damaging to the feminist argument.
In our personal relationships we can be more relaxed and considerate about the words we use, but in public debate surely we need to say what we mean?

(Full disclosure – just in case anyone feels it’s relevant – I’m a man.)

I agree with this and try to use the pronouns that correspond with someone's sex (determined by their chromosomes and usually their sex organs) which is usually fairly evident.

Also I prefer to refer to transsexuals and transvestites because trans"gender" is a nonsensical term since gender is by definition fluid and therefore doesn't need "trans" at the beginning of it.

As I have stated here before:

“Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two makes four. If that is granted, all else follows.” - 1984

Miranda Y has suggested this. And Peterson ( ?) made very valid points about this.

I think there's a few things at play here.

As a woman, I've probably been taught to be very sensitive to others ' feelings.

I certainly respect the many transwomen I know of and am happy to use preferred nouns in conversation and if I know them well. But I'm happy to use the pronouns anyway (mostly).

I don't like cis so I feel can respect the nouns.

I suppose I do carry a fear with me of reprisals.

On principle I absolutely agree with you, in practise it's a bit less black and white. Some I really struggle with though.

Well it's cultural Marxism 101 to control your language, so what else was anyone expecting? My son calls everyone "him" regardless, I might follow his lead.

I would add he's 3...

I'd have to write "go/fuck/yourself"

One is rather assuming one is wearing one's reading glasses. Unless the badges are about three feet across I do not stand a hope of being able to read them. There may be a lot of peering at others breast/chest which might not go down too well either. Grin
