www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/03/22/why-cant-gay-or-lesbian-twins-have-sex-with-or-marry-each-other-why-is-incest-wrong-between-same-sex-siblings/amp/

With obligatory Pornhub view that incest porn is searched for a lot, especially by women.

I'm so fucking sick of Pornhub setting a news agenda. Their PR is clearly very good if immoral.

Yeugh. Envy

It is telling that a women is credited with writing the article. Was she asked to write the article to make it more credible, or to discredit women?

What the hell is going on at PN. They've become as credible as the Daily Express.

AngryAttackKittens · 30/03/2018 23:19

I'm beginning to feel as though we are ancient Rome, with the liberal media fiddling while everything burns.

They're not just fiddling, they're gleefully roasting marshmallows over the burning corpses of abused women and children.

AnotherQuoll · 30/03/2018 23:35

Looks like the author's original Twitter account was suspended in November last year, soon after an article they wrote for Pink News about gay men, bare-backing and "bug chasing" (BM claimed gay men were bare-backing to try 'catch' hiv...)

However, there is a new account, the person identifying as Bea Mitchell, freelance journalist, Pink News, Digital Spy, BBCWales, and more, its tag: @thevenerablebea Blank timeline.

AreYouTerfEnough · 30/03/2018 23:38

They must be channelling their inner Caligula.

Whilst women are being vilified and threatened with death merely for asserting objective scientific facts, anything is possible.

This would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. What is unthinkable now?

DairyisClosed · 30/03/2018 23:48

I fir one have nothing against incest between consenting same sex adults but as pointed out incest is about much more than a taboo that some consenting adults would like to carry out. There is no point a lighthearted article regarding incest because it is not a light hearted matter. The question whether incest between consenting same sex parties is wrong is certainly and interesting one but require proper analysing of all the way incest is wrong rather than waffle about porn viewing habits. Who in their right mind would consider that relavent?

Gacapa · 31/03/2018 00:07

Jesus Christ, what is the world to gain by getting up in arms about denying the rights of same sex twins to fuck each other?!

This article is just degenerate niche filth. The slope is getting more slippery by the day.

Rancid.

RedToothBrush · 31/03/2018 01:40

Cosmo also had a pro-incest article today.

You saw the retweet from 4th wave? Cosmo article was dated 2015 I believe.

Teacuphiccup · 31/03/2018 08:51

way to give credence to the slippery slope theories Hmm

I actually can’t believe anywhere would print this shit.

LangCleg · 31/03/2018 09:02

I think Lisa, but I see you put a thread up about the third article! Will head there.

Kokeshi123 · 31/03/2018 09:50

I can see a case for decriminalizing incest in the case of siblings who were raised separately ("genetic sexual attraction"). Extremely rare, and likely to grow rarer in the future due to more openness about adoption.

Most normal incest, however, is mixed up with dodgy power relationships and is usually associated with exploitation of women.

QuentinSummers · 31/03/2018 13:13

It's just ridiculous that anyone would write an article normalizing it tho
Pink news are gross

I read that article too and felt a bit queasy

Fanfjeta · 28/08/2018 09:05

Just the worst...

Imnobody4 · 28/08/2018 10:38

There's been a debate in House of Lords recently proposing extending civil partnerships to siblings!

GollyGoshGreat · 28/08/2018 10:56

Yes, but not for romantic or sexual purposes - to recognise siblings that live together long term, and are economically co-dependant, do not benefit from the tax breaks afforded to those in recognised legal partnerships.

StealthPolarBear · 28/08/2018 11:04

Utterly disgraceful. Even if both parties are adults and consenting there is usually a power imbalance surely?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/08/2018 12:13

*At what point will men stand up and enforce boundaries, or will they merely join in?^

That's a question that bites at essentialism. How much are men innately primed to like porn, fucking anything (including children) and screwing around?

thesharkisanoceanbehindus · 28/08/2018 12:42

Pink News is now actively helping the idiot far right conspiracy theorists by publishing shit like this.
Get your house in order PN.

Enjoli · 28/08/2018 12:51

They are no longer hiding in plain sight.

They are flaunting in plain sight.

I was sexually abused by my uncle. We were close in age and raised like siblings.

I can't really be articulate or polite about how this article makes me feel. In short: not good.

Note the use of "considered" child abuse. Not "is" child abuse.

Disgusting.

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 28/08/2018 12:57

I am thinking about Jess Bradley and the stuff "she" thought was hot was father son incest.

To me it all is about weakening all taboos and laws and anything else that stands in the way of penises freely doing whatever they want, unfettered by boundaries against unwanted penis.

It is male domination.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 28/08/2018 13:13

Sex within the family is nearly always exploitative and damaging. A close relation is cousin marriage which, imo, should also be made illegal.

ErrolTheDragon · 28/08/2018 13:14

Logically this should earn the wrath of TRAs, as part of the reason for the taboo is firmly rooted in biology - in this piece when they say 'same sex' presumably that's exactly what they mean, not 'gender identity'.

gendercritter · 28/08/2018 14:07

Appalling article. I don't really know how to respond beyond that
