So is it a natal woman or a transwoman who says " when your identity is being challenged at a fundamental level and you are being told that you don't have certain rights , then that in itself becomes quite frightening " ....because to me that statement could have been made by either.

Great. Its about time.

Midgebabe, yes, it could be either, but I've not heard of transgender activists being no-platformed. If they were, that'd be dreadful, of course.

I am so glad this is being tackled.

“Incidents of unacceptable intimidatory behaviour by protestors intent on preventing free speech and debate.”
I started uni in 2001 and can not comprehend how things have changed enough in that time (I did a 5 year course so graduated in 2006 and there were no signs of it at my university then). It’s a relatively short period for educational spaces to go from free thinking and a space for debate, discussion and ideas to turn into a place for intimidation and no platforming.

Great!

Thats a strongly worded web page supporting free speech, but the design makes it difficult and annoying to scroll and read.
