Mattress Advert

Has anyone seen the Simba mattress Advert on FB?

The tag line is something to the effect of it's a good mattress whether you're a snoozer or a yogi...

And there's a lady in sports stuff doing a yoga sequence on the mattress.

The comments section was 1500 variations on:

1. Does she come with the mattress?
2. This was advertising a mattress? I didn't notice!

And of course the inevitable odd "I'd smash her back doors in" or similar.

The company selected the most provocative looking pose as the cover photo for the video.

AIBU to hope one day these comments will be thought of as inappropriate by most?

Isn't it a bit weird to basically say the equivalent of "I was sexual stimulated by this video" on a public forum?

AIBOversensitive to find it depressing?

It's depressing and unsurprising. What's more depressing is the number of women who'll claim that everything is fine now, we shouldn't worry, let's not go too far etc. I'd like those women to say the same thing if it was their daughter on that video being treated like a human wank sack.

I was wondering if their wives/girlfriends have a problem with their comments. They can't all be single. Maybe they just don't care.
