From The Economist, 'Remembering the 'T' in LGBT' one of the subjects to be covered is 'How to secure and protect trans rights'.
Honestly, this is just pervasive, it was my understanding that trans made up approximately 1% of the population, I am surprised how forcefully this is being pushed, speaking on how to change your organisations policies etc. I have not seen half so much on protecting disabled employees for example, or employees with life limiting illnesses etc.
