Hate and Misogyny Is Once Again Silencing Women.

Women are being silenced. This is rooted in hate and sexism and we must not stand for it.

Don't let others tell you that Terf is just an acronym. It is now used as a hateful slur and is deliberately used to demonise and incite other to hate us.

I'm going to stop legitimating its use and stop writing it in capital letters from now on, it's a word used by others with the same venom and malice like c#nt or b#tch.

This hate is designed to silence us through fear, shame and rejection. Its an age-old tactic used on women and it's happening right here and now in 2018.

I have written this article documenting the many ways women are being intimidated. I was shocked at how bad it really is. Seeing it all compiled in one place is quite sobering. The public needs to know what's happening. Please share if you can.

Managed to read properly.

Sickening.

Thank you Dr W.

Vickxy · 20/03/2018 16:51

This is such a good article. So depressing to see it all in one place though, I knew it was all happening of course, but seeing it all laid out like that...is not good. but it IS good at the same time as it shows people whats going on who would not otherwise be aware.

whoputthecatout · 20/03/2018 16:51

If anything proved that trans women are men that article does, and particularly vile men at that.

Winewinewinegin · 20/03/2018 17:19

How can the types of comments justifying violence against women on here REMAIN on twitter.

And yet a man has just been found guilty of telling a joke on you tube in the UK and is awaiting sentencing?

BeyondDeadlySiren · 20/03/2018 17:29

Just managed to read it properly now. I'll be sharing far and wide, it's fantastic proof of many of my points

SecretsRSecrets · 20/03/2018 19:11

Just piling on to add my thanks and say well done @DoctorW!Flowers

Sparctopus · 20/03/2018 19:49

Great summary! Hope we can get it shared widely, has anyone tweeted it to James O'B yet?

If anyone has a screenshot of the tweet I saw posted somewhere (sorry can't remember where though) of the TA saying they had called the House of Commons several times using different numbers/voices to protest against the event there and encouraging others to do the same, that would also be a good one to add in the section about the HoC/Millwall and the volume of calls received...

Sparctopus · 20/03/2018 19:49

Oh I see someone has tweeted it to him, good stuff!

This is why they must silence us. Everyone knows that female is about biology so actually everyone is a 'terf' really. But they have to demonise the ones that speak out so the discussion never gets had. As soon as we are free to speak about this crap the whole of the Uk would instantly peak trans. They have no coherent arguments. We do. That's why they hate us.

Sparctopus
Good idea. If people have screenshots that perfectly illustrate how they are threatening us in real life please message and I will add them to the article

Also, if you have been banned from an online forum for just knowing biology then let me know. Or if you have been doxed to your employer. What happened to the professor for retweeting a gender critical article was beyond belief.

I wish we could pin this document.
It is totally shameful that this behaviour is being condoned by our MPs, the Labour party, journalists and so on.... In plain sight and all that.

AskBasil · 20/03/2018 20:24

I was going to tweet it to James O'Brien but this is what I found.

I think I hit a nerve when I pointed it how striking it was, that when a woman expressed fear of male violence he got offended and NAMALTy and when a male person (the mtt) expressed the same fear, he was totally sympathetic.

Oh god that's a depressing but excellent article. Thank you OP even tho I now feel like sobbing under the douvet

LastGirlOnTheLeft · 20/03/2018 20:43

AskBasil, the thick twerp was probably hoping people didn't pick up on his utter hypocrisy!!😒🤣 Sigh, what an asshole!

Kyanite · 20/03/2018 21:18

Thanks for posting this. Reducing being a woman to nothing more than a feeling removes all our sex based rights, and I am stunned that not more people are seeing the issues here. I post on facebook and some men see it immediately but most are supporting transwomen entering women's spaces...it seems to be a perfect way to remove all our hard won rights. I can't fathom the women who don't see the issues here. Most men don't see why women and girls should be concerned by male bodied people coming into toilets and changing rooms.

loveyouradvice · 20/03/2018 21:21

thank you.... really amazing to have so coherently pulled together..... thank you

Kyanite · 20/03/2018 21:49

I've just seen someone post that health professionals tell us we can't say breast feeding anymore, it has to be chest feeding because otherwise we offend trans women without breasts! This is madness!

LightofaSilveryMoon · 20/03/2018 22:36

Many thanks for your report, DoctorW. Even though I've had to read it in three separate sittings because of finding the content, and the screenshots in particular, so very upsetting. (I don't do Twitter and Facebook, and I'm fairly new to all this, anyway.) This is not at all meant as a criticism - rather that this document is such a huge wake-up call.

As a pp said, I felt like crawling under a duvet and weeping.

But it is a very important report and documentation of where we are at the moment.

I have bought a ticket for the Cardiff Woman's Place UK happening and will attend - wherever it is held. Can't believe it's come to this, though, in 2018 - that women have to meet at secret locations in order to discuss women's issues and concerns.

Lots of other stuff as well, but just can't articulate it at the moment.

Thanks for this documentation.

Triliteration · 20/03/2018 22:41

As others have said, it’s shocking to see it all together. Thanks for writing it.

Gacapa · 20/03/2018 22:49

Thank you. I'll be sending this link on as part of the network I'm trying to build up locally.

Floisme · 21/03/2018 07:19

Thank you, this is so important.

IAmSproutycus · 21/03/2018 07:39

Thank you, great resource x

Triliteration · 22/03/2018 08:22

Threatened yesterday. Tweeted this this one hour ago. Twelve RTs already. We must not allow them to silence our voices.

icedtea · 22/03/2018 08:37

And where are the men??

To be fair, many men have been speaking up for some time about the dangers of the transgender agenda for quite some time. Some examples:

Also many on here seem unaware of the high degree of censorship that has appeared out of nowhere in the last few weeks towards anyone, both men and women, who not on the radical left. See

Vaginaperson · 22/03/2018 08:44

The reason I joined mumsnet was because I felt silenced, because I AM silenced, I daren’t mention it on twitter or Facebook as I fear bullying and harassment.

It’s created a real climate of fear and has distorted perceptions of what people really think on the issue, how many people ‘agree’ out of fear, especially those in ‘public’ jobs, but are privately gender critical? How much ‘public support’ do the TAs really have?
I want to give all the women who have spoken out and been bullied, doxxed, fired, assaulted, thrown out of political parties etc medals!
