Nicky Campbell is so good at handling delicate debates.

Jog22 · 20/03/2018 09:32

He just cited Iran as forward thinking!

Really good debate.

BykerBabe · 20/03/2018 09:36

Campbell didn't. It was the caller!

TheGoldenBough · 20/03/2018 09:36

One of the women explained Iran...

Jog22 · 20/03/2018 09:39

So glad she got to explain Iran immediately and at least this debate actually addressed the basic safety issues a bit more than other ones have. Thanks Campbell (although I still think you're smug)

Lucy Masoud totally rocked. The Rebecca Reid must be the same one who wrote The Metro article. I really hate all this 'what makes you a woman' nonsense - internalised womanly feelings. What crap.

Greensmurfterf · 20/03/2018 09:43

Lucy was great.

SwearyG · 20/03/2018 09:44

Lucy spoke at WPUK when we went - she's fantastic! It's a shame I missed her.

I hate the "what makes you a woman" debate. XX.

OldCrone · 20/03/2018 09:45

Campbell just mentioned a cross-dresser who doesn't feel safe in the male toilets. Does he really think you can solve male violence by letting all men self-id their way into the women's areas?

Lucy was brilliant at explaining Iran erasing gay people by making them transition.

OldCrone · 20/03/2018 09:54

They've got 'Ugla' on now. I think that's 'Owl'

Talking about transwomen being like disabled women and black women. I think I'll have to switch off.

FencingFightingTorture35 · 20/03/2018 10:06

Talking about transwomen being like disabled women and black women

This makes me so angry. They are purporting to be inclusive and progressive. Your average TRA doesn't care about black women or women with disabilities either. What they are actually doing is suggesting that being black makes you a subset of women. It doesn't. They are angling to get all the 'benefits' of being oppressed, nothing more.

rowdywoman1 · 20/03/2018 10:07

Great and respectful.
I also thought that the foster Dad was good with his comments about a GRC - it was a shame that he quoted 'radical feminists' as making unkind comments but I thought that the coverage was fairly even handed and it is important to be reminded that behind the shouting there are vulnerable people like his foster daughter.

MyOwnShed · 20/03/2018 10:52

Glad I listened to that, it was quite a broad and balanced debate. I especially liked the foster dad at the end.

Ugla tells us all there has never ever been any problems with trans women, we are all wrong because there have been no problems anywhere ever. We are all just creating panic.

Ugla is one of the worst gas lighters. Lives in a bubble.

Wobbleslikeaweeble · 20/03/2018 16:02

Owl is not a fan! 😢

owl again with the shit about MN just being for 1950s housewives.

no not sexist at all.

Mouthtrousersafrocknowandthen · 20/03/2018 16:12

I know, anything less than prost(r)ate worship and obedience will not satisfy Ugla.

Nicky was impressed by Sweary's comments about female facts. But then it reverted back to how the men felt.

Well done Sweary, media star.

MipMipMip · 20/03/2018 16:51

This cut out at one hour. Is there as part 2? It was in the middle of Bob talking.
