The SNP are huge fans of self ID so any woman can soon identify as a Mbna and become a mason.

Why settle for making the tea and sweeping the floor when you can be an actual mason?

I honestly can't see anything wrong with this. As they say - there are times when men want to spend time with men and women want to spend time with women.

Yes, it's definitely just about hanging around with other men. Nothing at all to do with networking and promoting/supporting each other above others who are not masons (which is all women, obviously). Nope, just manly hanging out.

The stupidity of this needs to be demonstrated very clearly to men. And women and anyone else who “can’t see the problem”.

Lovetocycle the thing that's pissing us off is the blatant double standards. Women must apparently accept penis owners into women's spaces otherwise we are bigots, but men get to exclude vulva owners from theirs (the most blatant example of this being the exemption to primogeniture laws under the current GRA - if an oldest daughter transitions and "identifies as male", her younger brother still inherits even if she gets herself a GRC).

Hence the Man Friday swim - trying to point out to men what women are being expected to put up with. It's not about toilets, it's about communal (i.e. no cubicle) changing rooms, women's prisons, rape crisis centres (like the case of the charming transwoman in Canada who took a fancy to becoming a rape crisis counsellor to women - and when the rape crisis centre explained that this was not actually appropriate because women recovering from rape might suffer PTSD when being counselled about their attack by someone with an adam's apple and stubble, said transwoman attempted to sue the rape crisis centre to the brink of bankruptcy).

I actually think that pointing out to ‘gentleman’s clubs’ that if self ID goes ahead then women can enter at will might just scupper it for good.

Being as these organisations seem to be where the deals get made ... let’s have a few women self ID, turn up, explain that they have absolutely no desire to infiltrate But that if it goes ahead women will.

Because frankly up to now I think a lot of men have ignored this because it doesn’t affect or disadvantage them. If the masons/their golf club/gentleman’s club is no longer a male space perhaps they will have a teeny inkling of what’s in the works.

Man Friday’s next mission perhaps?

It won't work as I think all of these clubs require a sponsor for you to be recommended for membership. You can't just rock up and join, I don't think.

Self ID is unlikely to get you into the masons as you still need to be invited, with probably more than one sponsor. Doubtful you will find enough allies who are already members.
