Hi all

Need some info please. My cousin is an old skool leftie (80s SWSS type) but now lives and works in deepest Africa and is rather missing the simple politics of home! She gets Guardian online when she can and belongs to an expat group but they're mostly old Tories and their conversations revolve around Boris apparently

So her group was chatting about Corbyn and Russia etc and one of them mentioned that Wes Streeting will make a better leader when he's elected. Cousin hadnt really heard of Wes and asks me to find out if he's a popular chap with Labour supporters. All i can find on google is that he supports Lily! But so does Jezza so thats not saying much

What does anyone know about him that isnt on his Wiki page please??!

Wes Streeting is anti-Corbyn and on the right of the Labour Party. He used to work for Stonewall hence his pro-trans stance, and, IIRC, was big in the NUS years ago. He is on the pro-Israel side of that particular division in the Labour Party.

Wes was on a FB group doxxing women, along with others that called TERFs cunts. I doubt women will want him as a labour leader.

Doesn't sound like my kinda guy so far
