I'd like to think that he'd be on the side of rationality.

How can we find out? (MN is the only social media I use, or even vaguely understand.)

I like Dave Gorman. I dont think its fair to name people like this. Its uncomfortably like an outing campaign.

Quickerthanavicar · 16/03/2018 07:20

Who?

Aragog · 16/03/2018 07:27

Why do you want to know?

It seems unfair to want to know individuals thoughts on subjects that they have no real link to.

MargotLovedTom1 · 16/03/2018 07:28

Why Dave Gorman in particular?

Patodp · 16/03/2018 07:31

If someone like him could come out and talk about this, with wit and intellect, it would be fantastic.

I think he'd be like Ricky Gervais's position, thinking the whole thing's stupid and funny.

No idea though. Someone Tweet him! I'm not a twitterer...

nauticant · 16/03/2018 07:49

Like others I think it's wrong to focus on individuals, especially if they've done nothing to enter the debate.

Its uncomfortably like an outing campaign. - sound exactly right to me.

LEMtheoriginal · 16/03/2018 07:54

But what if his opinion is one you don't want to hear? What if he thinks people should wind their necks in and down their pitchforks? What if...shock horror...he couldn't give a fuck because the only people who do are on this forum? Never even heard of anti trans anywhere other than here.

SparklyMagpie · 16/03/2018 07:57

Also wondering why you're wanting to know specifically about Dave Gorman Confused

elQuintoConyo · 16/03/2018 08:00

I'd like to know what Jason Statham's opinion is. And Megan Markle. And Cristiano Ronaldo. And Kate Moss.

I'll think if more randoms later.

JellySlice · 16/03/2018 08:10

Nothing random or outing about my question Hmm

Have you ever watched his show, Modern Life is Goodish? He applies logic and common sense to everyday idiocy - politely (-ish!), intelligently and extremely funnily.

Yes, he may have an opposing opinion to me, and that's his right.

I'd be surprised if he or his researchers don't already check out MN for material for his Found Poems.

Tbh, i think twice about naming famous folk as I don’t want to mark them and set a mob on them. I’d love to hear what professional sports women think, one very famous one i think is comping at the bit to say something but I can’t name her.

SparklyMagpie · 16/03/2018 08:26

I love modern life is goodish!! Grin

UpstartCrow · 16/03/2018 08:44

If you want to know someones opinion on a subject, google it. Its frankly weird to expect every person in the public eye to Have An Opinion that's media ready on your chosen subject, on demand.
