Poor Claudia So sad. The pressure to transition and the background reminded me of an absolutely horrible article I read about an effeminate toddler in the US, with very conservative parents; his mum mentioned how she'd been at her wits end as punishing him for liking dolls etc. hadn't worked and her friends were starting to ask if he was gay (she considered this to be a bad thing) so she was very relieved when it turned out that she actually had a daughter not a son! It is just so sexist and regressive.
